As Ozzyfrog succinctly put it, “our convos have reached at new level of sillyness”. At least it wasn’t in the ‘eternal’ group chat, which has been kept alive now for about 5 days. Oh, for the record, “lih” is an acronym for laugh-in-head, a more truthful display of amusement than the overused “lol”. In this case, “lol” actually meant “laugh-out-loud”. Yes, Ozzyfrog was rolling on the floor, with the computer as well. It’s quite skilful, in fact.
It was a good conversation, and one the sillyiest we have ever done. It’s actually a good way to pass time 🙂

Most certainly! I would like to propose a toast to silly conversations in general! Now I have a strong urge to roll on the floor laughing while holding my laptop, all the while typing silly messages.

Actually, sometimes I literally do LOL at things. But this new abbreviation is teh yay. LIH.
BTW, LIH is an abbreviation, NOT an acronym. An acronym has to be pronounceable as a word.

Well, that all depends on how one pronounces the term. I tend to pronounce it as a single word, saying “li” or “lee”. In that sense, it is an acronym, however if once says “L-I-H”, then no, it is not an acronym, but an initialism. So, while it is undboubtedly an abbreviation, whether one counts it as an acronym or an initialism is down to personal usage.
I have discovered a weakness in lih, when compared to lol. It is non-recursive, whereas lol can be easily repeated ad infinitum. While repeating lol is arguably poor usage of the term, it is still widely applicable and more closely mimics actual laughter. eg: lololololololololololololol (very much laughter). Such an approach cannot be achieved with lih, as lihlihlihlihlihlihlihlih is both harder to pronounce, and to write, and to read than the first example.
LIH, yay for nonsense posts.

True. In my head, I pronounce lih as “li”. However, I’m strict in my definition of acronym and say it has to spell out a word.
Also true, lih is harder to recurse, but if you are “lih”ing instead of “lol”ing that must mean it’s not as funny so you shouldn’t need to recurse it.
BTW, I like the use of pictures in your posts.
